I am by no means a professional artist. However, I think that some of the following are amusing in some way. They are presented here for your enjoyment; but don't expect like you're going to the Louvre.

If you want to link, download, repost, etc. these images, please do! For my specific licensing/usage request, please see this page.

This first section is mostly space-themed, since I have a great interest in science fiction. I started drawing this series in grad school, and tried to work on technique.

These images are mostly released on Deviant Art (which after many one-off posts, people suggested I collect there). They are also on Google Plus (which has the most information, description, and notes for the art), the ToughSF Discord, and occasionally my Twitter.

The following are from before or during my undergrad. There aren't any drawings in-between, although I occasionally find drawings of similar or worse quality in old sketchbooks; I simply became a better artist to produce the images above by learning more artistic theory and getting better art supplies.

A random sci-fi lineup (as for a movie poster). The idea was that this would be the epitome of a modern movie; comparatively little plot and lots of action.

Graphs:

Ethics versus intelligence. Other people added some of the data points.

Sure; let's talk; do some debate. But really? Regardless of the truth/falsity of creationism, this argument for it is preposterously invalid. Warranted a graph joke.

Political spectrum. If you find it surprising, know that it was rendered with the guidance of a number of teachers at different institutions, and it is reflected in modern political science textbooks. Other people added some data points too, though. See if you can figure out the political affiliation of wax paper.

Miscellaneous:

Running away from a nuclear blast, with a plan. I think I'm the one driving.

Some stupid American pilot wants his (completely totalled) plane fixed, and the only one willing to try is an incompetent, duct-tape wielding WWI-era damsel with a utility belt and some initiative.

This came out of an IRC conversation I found logged, while looking for something else. The picture captures the moment when a grown man punches a (rather obsese) goldfish in the face.

The lurking variable. It may hurt your statistical analyses.

You never know when this is going to happen. What? You don't.
