Projects

Programming

I enjoy programming. I am fluent in many languages, and have used many many more, but for applications programming I favor Python or C++.

Academic Research

I am currently working as an academic researcher, especially in computer science, specifically focusing on graphics rendering algorithms. Visit here to check out my work!

Applications, Demos, Games, and More

I've had many programming projects, and I'm starting to release some of them.

Software Libraries

I've had many programming projects, and I'm starting to release some of them.

Coursework

Coursework done in undergrad and grad school that may be of interest, or such as I was required to host.

Old Python Stuff

I got my start programming stuff in Python. Here is all the older Python stuff I released.

Writing

Blog

On my blog, I have most of my other one-off writings over the years collected. There are miscellaneous analyses, tirades, commentary, projects, and everything in-between here!

Nanofic~Sci~Fi

Nanofic~Sci~Fi is a writing project where I write nanofiction (very short stories or vignettes) set in one of several science-fictional universes. This is most of my most-recent, and best, sci-fi writing!

Poems

I occasionally write (generally short and geeky) poems. Click here for Higgledy-Piggledy!

Old Misc. Short Fiction

Over the years, I have written various other short fiction. Collected here are various (mostly old) miscellaneous stories.

Visual and Physical Artwork

Snowflakes

Kirigami snowflakes (snowflakes cut out of paper).

Visual Artwork

Visual art from grad school and on. These I'm actually fairly proud of!

Old Sketches

In high school and undergrad, I did some sketching. Here are some low-quality photos / scans.

Philosopher Koder

Old webcomic I made about math and code.

Music

Bandcamp

Music performance releases, mostly improvisational piano.

Overtones of Christmas Songbook (PDF)

In overtone singing, you adjust the harmonics of your voice to give the impression of singing two notes at once. This songbook I made gives pointers on how, and gives arrangements of classic Christmas carols / new-year's songs suitable for overtone voice.

Violin Harmonics Chart

Violin harmonics are important, but are rarely notated correctly, let alone comprehensively catalogued. This chart summarizes all practical violin harmonics in simple terms, separated by articulation type, with sound quality and resultant note indicated.

Old Compositions

Old musical compositions (sheet music, MIDI render, etc.) mostly for fiddle or piano.

Electronics Projects

Designing and building electronics projects. Home of the lightning staff and Six-Teeny hexadecimal display!

Galactic Library

The Galactic Library is a wiki for hard science fiction topics, intended as a tribute to and technical reference for Atomic Rockets. I am the core technical maintainer of this project.
